Character Breakdowns:

RUTH: 65-70 years old, works as the spotlight person at an old theater. Independent, creative and intelligent. Plays the piano, enjoys reading literature and attending theater. She is an old soul with a secret.

ANN: 65-75 years old. Ruth's best friend. Sarcastic, witty and sharp. She can have an attitude towards her other Jewish women friends. Organizes the weekly Mahjong group.

MILLY: 65-80 years old. A sweet woman who wouldn't hurt a fly. Loves to talk, especially about her family and grandchildren. A true Bubbe.

PHYLLIS: 65-75 years old. A worry-wart who is more traditional then the other women but secretly loves being around them. The mother figure of the group.

ELIAS: 60-70 years old. Cuban, actor who is very charismatic and flirtatious but also humble.
